We are a team of product, engineering, design, and AI leaders who love working in build-measure-learn cycles. We've all been founders before. Most importantly, we believe deeply in the power of user-research.

Collectively, we've built software that's now used by hundreds of millions of MAUs. And from that experience, we know how hard it is to understand what truly resonates with users. Yes. You can edit the discussion guide directly, or collaborate with our AI assistant. You can also try your own Supertest experience with the AI moderator, then further refine the discussion guide before sending it to any participants. Our agent applies UX best practices to ensure your research is carried out to the highest standards of the world's leading product and user research teams.

Our quickest Supertest with real users has been 7 hours; typical average completion times are around 5 days. During our closed alpha, the main steps are: a 30-minute kick-off call to understand your goals; we create and share an Interview Guide (which our AI Agent uses during interviews) and iterate based on your feedback; we then configure the AI interviewer, shared with you for iterative feedback. As soon as you approve it, we launch, conduct deep user research sessions and revert with synthesised findings, insights, recommended actions and the full recordings.

Yes - Hear feedback directly from your existing userbase with easy distribution simply by sharing a link on any of your key channels including email, website, WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS.

We work with a range of premium panel partners, plus our own pool of high-quality participants. We monitor how each person participates in other Supertests, assign them a quality score, and only retain participants who give thoughtful and insightful answers.

Absolutely! You can apply these filters directly when you create a new Supertest. You can also contact us directly to discuss in more detail.

This varies depending on the level of the company's maturity and the fidelity of the prototype in the test. For early-stage companies or early prototypes of new ideas, strong insights can emerge from as few as 5 interviews. For later-stage testing in more mature companies (e.g., comparing two subtly different designs to prepare for a large roll-out), we recommend using larger pools. Supertest has been used to run interviews ranging from small expert samples through to hundreds of participants.

For participants that you recruit through Supertest, we pay a cash incentive per interview. This is already included in the cost that you pay us. For participants from your own audience, we leave it to you to decide whether or not to provide an incentive.

Supertest's AI moderator is specifically designed to unearth deep insights. If a participant gives short or unhelpful answers, the AI moderator uses targeted probing questions to elicit more useful information. Each interview is also given a quality score, to flag and remove any participants whose answers are not helpful.

Yes! We've found that users are more honest and provide longer responses when speaking with an AI moderated interviewer, compared to when speaking with a human moderator.

Surveys tell you what users think; Supertest finds out why. The AI moderator listens to each response, asks follow-up questions, pushes back on vague answers and probes for specifics, just like a skilled human interviewer would. The result is qualitative depth at the speed and scale of a survey.

Supertest's interview experience is truly interactive, and is much more fun than completing a survey. Participants can complete a Supertest whenever is convenient for them, rather than juggling with scheduling. We've had users participate at 2AM, while on a walk, or even during the commute home.

Yes, we have some of the world's leading minds in AI working on Supertest to ensure you can trust the insights uncovered. Every insight is auditable, linking back to the source transcript/s for you to listen back to or read. The raw interviews are also available for you to review manually if you'd like to be 100% sure.

The typical completion time is about 4 days. This is linked more to specific and hard-to-reach audiences — it's due to recruitment and providing the right people sufficient time to complete the Supertest, as opposed to the ability to run a Supertest and synthesise the results. Our quickest Supertest end-to-end turnaround has been 7 hours.

We store all recordings, transcripts and insights securely on the Supertest platform. You can download and export everything easily.
